Marriage Retreat: Last chance to Register for the November 2-3 marriage retreat continues. Please see Jayne Bartlett or Lisa Swedock to register for this event. The retreat will run from 7:30 – 9:30 on Friday night and 10 – 2:30 on Saturday.
Food Drive: We are doing a food drive to benefit the Pernet Family Health food pantry’s Thanksgiving basket program. If you are interested in participating please donate the following items, divided by family group in order to get a good variety.
We will collect the food on Sunday, November 11th. Let’s make every effort to help this organization to serve the poor in Worcester.

Carol Gannon: Has been suffering with severe back pain for the past few weeks. Calls or visits would be appreciated; she is at home. Don Butts, Paul’s Father is seriously ill and undergoing chemotherapy Sue Buss: Has hip replacement surgery scheduled for the end of October John Cullen: His mother Mary Cullen is recovering from a stroke. Dave Cote: His mother recently suffered a concussion, and on Friday she had surgery for stones they found in her bile duct and pancreas.
On Sunday, October 28th there will be a Music Ministry Meeting immediately following services at the SDA building.
All singers and song-leaders are asked to attend. Also, we encourage anyone who wants to serve in any way, or even if you just have suggestions to please join us for this meeting. Sometimes our best input comes from people who aren’t actively involved in the music ministry, so please feel free to come and offer your input.
We will be discussing upcoming services, including the Christmas service. We’ll also be discussing sound and equipment needs, both current and future.
The meeting is scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30, so please bring a lunch, as we’ll meet in one of the classrooms.

Parenting Workshop: With Walter and Kim Evans, will be held on 10/20/2007 at the Maronis Park Lower level, 52 S. Quinsigamond Ave., Shrewsbury. Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Coffee and snacks will be provided
Family Farm Service: Next Sunday, we will be meeting at the Bars’ farm, 33 Riley Chase Road, Dayville, CT. Please read the Farm Service brochure so you know what’s going on as well as other important information. Some very important things to do:
Do try to carpool. Parking is limited. Do dress for the weather. Everything, including restrooms, will be outside. Do wear walking shoes. Do bring your own chairs and blankets.
Parents Do speak with your children about treating the land and animals with respect. Do have your children with you during the entire service. (There is no KK or childcare). Do know where your children are and what they’re doing during the day. Do let your children know they are not to go into any pastures, barns, or workshops.
