Proactive Parenting: On Wednesdays nights this month we will be having a parenting series with a guest speaker. This week’s lesson is titled “Farsighted Parenting.” Jimmy and Anita Allen will be our featured speakers. All parents of children through adults are encouraged to attend. Come early for coffee, dessert and fellowship! Childcare is not provided – please see Meghan Curtin if you need assistance.
It’s a Girl! Welcome to Mia Marie Waire, born to James and Michelle, on March 10. Mother and baby are home and doing well. Congratulations to all! 2009 Marriage Retreat – A Mighty Flame: The theme of this year’s marriage retreat is ROMANCE! Registration is $20 for all attendees. The retreat will be held April 17 – 19 at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort. Room costs (in addition to registration) are as follows: 1 bedroom suite $115 per night (ex. 2 nights would be $230 for the weekend); 2 bedroom condo $179 per night; for couples who want to split costs it is $180 per couple per night; 3 bedroom condos are available @ $199 per night (for a couple who wants to split it w/another couple). There will be a dance/party on Saturday night. The program begins at 11 am on Saturday morning. See Sandy Meindersma to register and pay. Registration closes on April 5.

Gloria Mahoney: Is on bed rest due to pregnancy complications
Mary Parke Plummer and Genny West: Mary’s husband was diagnosed with cancer recently.
Patryce Hudspeth: Patryce is at Parsons Hill Nursing Home on Main Street in Worcester. She appreciates visits and telephone calls.
Ely Nazario: Is home after breaking her leg recently. She is in need of assistance at home since she will be on bed rest for several more weeks. See Stacy Specht if you are able to help. Ely’s cell# is 508-963-7607
