Kids Kingdom: New Kids Kingdom rotation will be starting January 10th. All classes, except infants, have some open teaching positions. Please let Pat or Kate (katebars@hotmail.com) know if you can serve with the children. Thank you, your service is greatly appreciated.
Worcester Church MLK Day Red Cross/Hope Event!! We have an amazing opportunity to volunteer our efforts right here in Worcester while working with Hope Worldwide and the American Red Cross! The Worcester Church will be combining our efforts to serve neighborhoods in Worcester who have shown to be in a Fire Danger area! We will be meeting in teams to pass out door hangers with fire prevention information to our Worcester neighbors who have been targeted by the Red Cross. Please save the date, Saturday, January 16th for this great opportunity to serve along with our families! More details to follow. Any questions, please see Chris or Michelle Charon
Hospitality Helpers Needed! If you are interested in helping with different hospitality events, we need you! You will be called upon periodically to make food items for different church events where we need goodies or refreshments and to help provide meals for those in need along with their family group. If interested please see Michelle Charon.
Hearts Tournament –Please join us, and invite your friends, for the WCCC 3rd Annual Hearts Tournament at 6:00 p.m. on December 26th at the Jette’s house (16 Minuteman Way Shrewsbury). Cost is $10 which includes pizza and drinks and there will be a trophy and cash prize for the winner. Please email Eric Jette (ejette7369@msn.com) ASAP.
Jack & Jill Shower: for Joe and Yolanda: Sunday 1/3 from 3-5pm at the Charon’s home; couple is registered at Target; call Michelle Charon if you would like to help(508-845-5399).
Wedding: Joe and Yolanda will be married on Sunday 1/10 at 1pm following service in the church building. SAVE THE DATE!
Prayer Requests:
Patryce Hudspeth: Patryce is now at The Meadows Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rochdale. She appreciates visits and telephone calls. She is for waiting her new wheelchair, which has been approved.
William Kropp: Douglas Kropp’s dad was recently diagnosed with colon cancer.
Joe Wegh: Lori Maday’s father’s cancer has returned and he is in a lot of pain.
