HOPE worldwide Volunteer Corps
The Summer 2010 HVC Application is now available!
This summer is quickly approaching and with it comes the opportunity of a lifetime. HOPE Youth Corps (HYC) and HOPE worldwide Volunteer Corps (HVC) are two programs of HOPE worldwide that enable volunteers to travel all over the world to help bring hope and change lives. HYC is designed for high school and college students while HVC is for singles, couples and families.
This summer, HVC members will comfort orphans, teach children English, care for disabled children, serve in a HOPE worldwide hospital as well as medical clinics, and love the unloved. This is an incredible opportunity to selflessly serve the people of this world who need it most. See HOPE worldwide website for more information at www.hopeww.org
National Volunteer Week: (April 18 – 24)
Mark your calendars as we start planning for National Volunteer Week next month! National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. It’s about demonstrating to the nation that by working together, in unison, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. National Volunteer Week is about taking action, encouraging individuals and their respective communities to be at the center of social change—discovering and actively demonstrating their collective power to foster positive transformation. It will be an exciting week of helping our communities by family group with some great events and service projects! More information to follow! See Chris or Michelle Charon for more details.
